Guidelines for Conference Submission
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the ICTA-EMOS Conference 2026. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, all authors are required to submit their papers through the conference portal. All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review, and accepted papers will be published in proceedings with an ISBN/DOI.
Submission Deadline: > All papers must be successfully uploaded by 30th June 2026, 23:59 EAT. The portal will close automatically after this time.
- Pre-Submission Checklist
Before logging into the portal, please ensure your manuscripts meet the following requirements:
- Language: English
- Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
- Template and Format: Manuscripts must be written using the appropriate Springer Nature template.

- Review the Springer Nature Manuscript Guidelines for detailed preparation rules.
- Submission Length Requirements:
- Full papers: Up to 8 pages (including references, figures and tables).
- Short papers: Up to 4 pages (including references, figures and tables).
- Case studies: Length should follow the relevant submission category or conference guidance.
- Abstract Length: Abstracts should be between 250 and 300 words.
Page Limit Policy: Authors are advised to keep manuscripts concise and within the standard page limit where possible. Papers exceeding the standard full paper length may incur additional page charges.
- Submission Process
Step 1: Access and Login
- Go to the ICTA-EMOS 2026 Submission Portal.
- Click Login in the top-right corner.
- Note: Authors must have an account to submit. If you do not have an Indico account yet, click Create one here.
Step 2: Initiate Submission
- Once logged in, locate and click the blue “Submit a new abstract” button (or the green/black submission buttons).
Don’t be confused by the word “Abstract” on this button—this single form is the correct pipeline for all submission types (Abstracts, Short Papers and Full Papers).
Step 3: Fill Out the Submission Form
When the submission window appears, complete the fields exactly as outlined below:
- Title: Enter the full title of your submission.
- Content: Provide a brief summary or introduction of your work. (You can use Markdown and LaTeX math formulae here if needed).
- Authors: Click to add yourself and any co-authors who contributed to the paper.
- Contribution Type (CRITICAL): Open this dropdown menu and select whether you are submitting a Case Study, Full Paper, or Short Paper.
- Attachments: Drag and drop or browse to upload your full manuscript document (PDF or Word format).
- Tracks & Sub-themes: Select the thematic area from the list that best aligns with your research focus. Please ensure your chosen Track and Sub-theme match.
- Abstract: Input your 250–300 word abstract text here.
- Keywords: Enter a concise summary of the paper outlining the research problem, methodology, key findings or expected results, and contribution.
- Sub-themes: Re-verify the thematic area that best aligns with the focus of your submission.
- Corresponding Author: Designate the specific author responsible for all communication regarding reviews, revisions, and presentation details.
Final Tip: Double-check that your full paper file is successfully listed in the Attachments section before clicking the final Submit button at the bottom of the window.
