Important Submission Notice

The ICTA-EMOS 2026 Call for Papers closed on 30 June 2026.

New abstracts and new paper submissions are no longer being accepted. Submitted papers are currently undergoing peer review.

Paper notification letters will begin to be issued from 27 July 2026.

Following notification, authors of accepted papers must carefully address all reviewer comments and recommendations before uploading the revised camera-ready version of their existing paper.

The paper portal remains available exclusively for revisions to existing accepted contributions. Authors must not create a new or duplicate submission.

About ICTA-EMOS 2026

The International Conference on Technological Advancement in Embedded and Mobile Systems (ICTA-EMOS 2026) represents the culmination of collaborative research, capacity-building, and innovation activities undertaken under the Centre of Excellence for ICT in East Africa (CENIT@EA) initiative.

The conference serves as a global platform that brings together researchers, academics, industry innovators, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, present research findings, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Hosted by Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya, ICTA-EMOS 2026 will showcase recent technological advances in embedded systems, mobile technologies, applied artificial intelligence, and emerging digital technologies. The conference is designed to translate research into practice by addressing real-world challenges through sustainable and socially responsible technological solutions.

Building on the success of previous editions, ICTA-EMOS continues to strengthen international research networks and promote high-quality technological research and innovation across Africa and the wider global research community.

ICTA-EMOS 2026 seeks to:

Revised Paper Submission Guidelines

New submissions are closed.

This section applies only to authors whose existing papers have been accepted and who are preparing revised camera-ready manuscripts.

Paper Types:
Full research papers, extended full papers, short papers, and case studies

Language:
English

Reviewer Comments:
All accepted authors must carefully review and address the comments and recommendations provided by the reviewers. Revisions should be incorporated into the camera-ready manuscript before it is uploaded.

Formatting:
Revised manuscripts must use the appropriate Springer Nature manuscript template. The official preparation guidelines are available here: Springer Nature Manuscript Guidelines .

Originality Requirement:
All papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review by another conference or journal.

Paper Length:

  • Full papers: up to 8 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Extended full papers: more than 8 pages and up to a maximum of 12 pages, including references, tables, and figures. Additional page charges apply for pages exceeding the standard 8-page limit.
  • Short papers: up to 4 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Case studies: should follow the relevant paper category or guidance issued with the acceptance notification.

Page Limit Policy: Authors are encouraged to keep manuscripts within the standard page limit where possible. Extended full papers may contain up to 12 pages. Pages beyond the standard 8-page full-paper limit may attract additional page charges.

How to Submit a Revised Paper

  1. Log in using the account associated with the original submission.
  2. Open My Conference.
  3. Select My Contributions.
  4. Open the relevant existing contribution.
  5. Read and address all reviewer comments.
  6. Prepare the revised camera-ready manuscript using the required template.
  7. Open the paper revision or submission pane for the existing contribution.
  8. Upload the revised manuscript and confirm that the correct file is displayed.

Important: Do not create a new abstract, contribution, or duplicate paper submission. The revised manuscript must be uploaded under the existing contribution.
